About

I am Jess. 

I have a whole life full of stories, an entire past full of sordid tales, of great successes and huge failures. I could spend hours upon hours telling you about how I became who I am today, but most of those stories aren't important. Because my story, of who I am today, only started four years ago. In April 2009, I met the man who changed me and everything I believe in. 

I met Anthony. He introduced me to great love. To a desire to become married (we are yet to actually do that). To self confidence. And to my family.

I am a 20 something Mum to my two beautiful Daughters. 

Evelyn Rose is my eldest, born in April 2011. She is soft and gentle, kind and loving. Headstrong and stubborn, smart and cheeky. She gave me the greatest gift, the gift of being a Mum. 

Zalia Sky, born in March 2013. My content and happy little baby who seems to have just slipped right into our family. She has filled a part of our family that we didn't even know was missing until she was here. We were waiting for her, she found us and now we are complete.

The person I am today, began when this family began. It has completely changed me, from a girl to a woman, a Mum. I am forever changing and evolving as I find my feet as a Mother, as their Mummy. 

And so I started writing this blog as a way to capture our journey. I write to them, for them, a keepsake. I write about our day to day lives, I write about their milestones, I write about my past. I write about our today. 

This is my little space to call my own.
